What's a CBD Hemp based product?
- Hemp comes from a strain of the plant Cannabis Sativa which has no psychoactive properties and contains CBD (Cannabidiol) which has many therapeutic effects.
Isn't Cannabis Sativa the scientific name for Marijuana? Does your product make my pet high?
- Hemp and Marijuana come from the same type of plant, Cannabis Sativa. However, the substance found in Marijuana THC or tetrahydrocannabinol which is psychotropic or makes you high is hardly produced in Hemp. THC measures at 0.3% or less in hemp and at this level it has no psychoactive effect.
How does CBD Hemp work?
- Humans and other animals like dogs, cats, and even birds have CBD receptors, or sites which are primarily in the brain, central nervous system and immune cells. CBD is produced by mammals in breast milk and during pregnancy which is why scientists believe CBD receptors develop. Taking CBD orally allows the CBD to interact with the CBD receptors and can help with pain, tumors, seizures, muscle spasms, skin conditions, appetite suppression, aggression, anxiety and neurological disorders. CBD is also very anti-inflammatory.
How can CBD Hemp help my pet?
